The North Fork River has excellent water quality for canoing and kayaking. Swimming, tubing and rafting are
also favorite river activities. Brown trout are stocked in the river and from Hammonds to Blair Bridge is a blue ribbon
trout fishing area. Many fisherman also enjoy fishing for brown bass and rock bass from Hebron Bridge to Hammonds.
The Mark Twain National Forest provides beautiful trails for hiking, as well as an excellent area for hunting for deer
and turkey during the spring and fall hunting season. Take a day trip and visit the near by mills and enjoy the
natural landscape of the Ozark Mountains. Norfolk Lake near Mountain Home, Arkansas is only about a 45 minute drive. Lost
Cabins Outfitter Store is stocked with bagged ice, snacks, sodas and fun gear for the river. The kids playground
set is available for children 10 and under, and badmitton or volleyball and horse shoes is available for everyone.
